Samantha is such a Daddy's girl! She looks JUST like him, acts like him, even eats like him! Thank goodness she was blessed with his metabolism and eats like crazy yet isn't a chubby baby! :) My little princess is becoming a little person and I am having the time of my life watching her personality blossom! She hasn't mastered talking as of yet but she understands alot and uses sign language to communicate with me. When I sing, If you're happy and you know it touch her nose, she touches her nose which shows me she understands. :) I think it may be time to give Sam a little brother or sister to play with!!!!! :) Only time will tell :)

SAMANTHA'S 1ST CHRISTMAS

Last year was officially Samantha's first Christmas but being as how she was only a few weeks old, I considered this Christmas her first! Samantha LOVES her cousin Naomi and always has a blast with her, not to mention it keeps her occupied and gives me a little break. LOL .... Every year the kids receive so many gifts that it takes us forever to open presents and now that we have Samantha, it took us about 2 hours to open presents! Sheesh! Samantha received so many clothes that she could open a small boutique hahaha. All in all, it was wonderful spending Christmas Eve with the family. The only person missing was my mom but with her living in Florida she just couldn't join us this year. Maybe next year.

SAMANTHA'S MINNIE MOUSE 1ST BIRTHDAY

My newborn baby is now officially a toddler! Samantha turned ONE on December 4th! I can't believe how fast the time went by. We celebrated her Minnie Mouse themed birthday on the 8th with lots of family and friends! Everthing was made by yours truley. From the Decorations to the food to the chocolate candies made from molds. I was determined to make her first birthday special and memorable and am pleased with the end result. Words cannot express how much I love my princess! She may not remember much from her first birthday so here is a birthday message for my little Tuti to read when she gets older :)

One year ago today at precisely 9:29 am, I was given the most precious gift of all! YOU were born! It was the happiest day of my life and one year later it has been the happiest year of my life! No doubt that have driven me a little crazy at times but that’s because we are both learning new things for the first time together and I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I knew that being a mom would be wonderful but I had no idea just how much love I could feel for one person. You have opened my eyes and made me see the world differently. Samantha YOU are my world and I love you more than words can describe. Watching you grow and seeing you become a “little” person is amazing and I look forward to all the adventures that await us. Happy 1st Birthday Tuti ! Mommy loves you sooooooo much!!! ♥
