MATEO'S 1ST CHRISTMAS

While baby Mateo won't ever remember his first Christmas, I will!! I couldn't have asked for a better gift! Having my mom in town and the whole family together makes it all that much more special. Merry Christmas my little man!

WELCOME BABY MATEO!

He's finally here! Our precious little man made his grand entrance on December 8th at 9:40 am and weighed a mere 8 lbs 3 oz! So much for my 10 pound baby! Those doctors didn't know squat! LOL! Needless to say I am over the moon with my little man! He's just so stinking cute even though he looks like nothing like me ahaha

We are home now and relaxing. Thank goodness I have my mom in town to help out while I recover from my csection.

SAMANTHA'S 2nd BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to YOU, Happy Birthday dear Samantha, Happy Birthday to you! And many moooooore!

My princess turned 2 today! I can't believe how fast the time went by. She's growing up sooooo fast! With only 4 days till Baby Mateo's arrival, I couldn't throw my baby girl a BIG birthday bash like I did last year but I still had a little get together at home with the Fam Bam! The theme was Doc McStuffins which is her favorite cartoon right now. My princess had a great time and I enjoyed watching her play with her new toys.

Next year we'ok have another big birthday bash only this time it'll be two birthdays in one....... Baby Mateo's 1st and Samantha's 3rd ;)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This year was Sam's first time knocking on doors! She was scared at the first house we went to, but once she saw the guy put candy in her bag, the next house was a no brainer! Ahahaha

Sam dressed up of course as no one other than Doc McStuffins! She absolutely adored her costume!

We had a great time and I can't wait till next year for Baby Mateo to join us.

HOLIDAYS, OH BABY, AND MORE!!!

Since my last post Baby Mateo has grown quite a bit! I still have one month to go and little Mateo is not so little! LOL He's already at 6 pounds! Doc says he'll be bigger than Sam was and she weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz. I guess it's a good thing I'm having a schueduled c-section :)

Alex and I had our Baby Shower on October 12th and we had a wonderful time! All our family and friends came out to celebrate the joyous occasion with us. I put alot of time into the planning as I always do. Seems I tend to go a little over board with our family parties, but in the end its all worth it. Now with that behind us, I have moved onto Halloween plans, planning Samantha's 2nd Birthday, Thanksgiving preparations, Christmas preparations, gift shopping and YES wrapping! Halloween isn't even here yet, but with Mateo due on December 8th I want to make sure everything is wrapped and ready to go.

My mom is coming down from Miami to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with us so it will be nice to have the whole family together this holiday season :)

 

IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

Taking care of a toddler is ALOT more work than I expected and so many of my activities, blogging being one of them have been put on the back burner. Seeing as how I have good news to share, I thought I would sneak in a minutes here at work and blog. This month I found out that Samantha will be having a little baby brother!! And the crazy part of it all is that he has the EXACT same due date as Samantha! Imagine they have the same birthday! :) Needless to say I'm over the moon with excitement and cannot wait to meet baby Mateo. I can only imagine how hard having a newborn AND a 2 year old will be but I know in the end it's all worth it. I don't have any 3D pictures of Baby Mateo to show yet but in the meantime, here is the latest ultrasound from May.
